Job summary

Ingersoll Rand, based in Kansas City, MO, seeks a Service Coordinator to support the Customer Center and coordinate service technicians for industrial compressed air needs. You will manage customer communications, collaborate with sales and management, and ensure adherence to order management and operational requirements.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, efficient scheduling, invoicing, inventory control, and the ability to work overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office and mobile devices.
• Strong organization, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming service calls and schedule technicians for preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Guide and develop service technicians as appropriate and assist in technical issue resolution.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Manage service inventory and rental fleets; track repair status and location.
• Maintain EH&S and operational excellence standards; assist with audits.
• Earn customer loyalty by managing interactions and following up on service quotes and seeking new business.
• Order and receive parts for jobs; monitor shipping and receiving; data entry.
• Submit warranty claims and ship parts to the factory with SOX compliance.
• Demonstrate teamwork and flexibility to work overtime as required.
