Job summary

Raytheon in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Sr. Industrial Security Specialist to support the Classified Document Control (CDC) office.

This onsite position requires handling and safeguarding classified material and coordinating with the CDC team to ensure proper receipt, packaging, and dissemination. Candidates must have a university degree (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of relevant experience, be able to lift up to 30 lbs, and hold an active DoD Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires: a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Products.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personnel with varying levels of experience handling classified material including commercial courier briefing for employees’ hand-carrying classified material ensuring proper marking, accounting, safeguarding and destruction.
• Create and maintain organizational records/files pertaining to the generation receipt, safeguarding, transmission, and destruction of accountable classified information by conducting data integrity reviews and audits to maintain accuracy of the information management system.
• Support customer visits, semi-annual self-inspections, and respond to customer requests/inquiries related to classified material management.
• Sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
