Job summary

DKKD Staffing seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to act as the lead onsite IT anchor for a Costa Mesa client. You will drive zero-touch Microsoft Autopilot provisioning, Intune app rollouts, hardware deployments, and deep-level endpoint remediation, backed by remote cloud architects.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive endpoint engineering or senior IT support in an enterprise setting.
Hands-on Windows 11, Microsoft 365 (E5), Entra ID, and Autopilot zero-touch deployment workflows.
Experience using remote support tools and privileged administrative elevations for deep endpoint remediation.
Practical knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, switches, and Wi‑Fi for collaboration with remote networks.
Familiarity with SolarWinds or equivalent enterprise monitoring tools for performance and health reporting.
Strong VIP support skills with executives and critical utility staff; excellent communication.
Ability to write clear SOPs, escalation notes, and site diagrams; organized and non-siloed.
Onsite commitment: full-time onsite in Costa Mesa, CA with client onboarding/background clearance.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end device lifecycles via Autopilot and Intune (zero-touch provisioning, profiles, app deployment, compliance).
Establish secure elevated remote admin access workflows for deep OS and application remediation on end-user devices.
Utilize SolarWinds for real-time monitoring, proactive alerts, and health reporting.
Lead local network troubleshooting and coordinate with the remote Network Architect on infrastructure issues.
Support local identity workflows in Entra ID (policy application, CA troubleshooting, MFA).
Serve as senior onsite escalation lead for complex endpoint, identity, and system issues; validate global policies with remote architects.
Deliver high-touch, white-glove support to executive leadership and essential utility operations staff.
Maintain tickets, SOPs, floor/rack diagrams, and knowledge base articles per change control and security protocols.
