Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Senior Advanced Quality Engineer to join our team in Mebane, NC. The role is fully onsite and focuses on being the customer’s main contact for quality requirements, collaborating across locations to improve quality in line with customer needs.

The candidate will manage customer relationships, ensure compliance with APQP and change management processes, and drive continuous quality improvements using Six Sigma and CSR methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a mechanical/industrial engineering field.
• 8+ years of relevant quality experience in automotive.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the customer’s main contact for quality requirements and interfaces across locations and functions.
• Develops plans to improve quality performance aligned with voice of the customer.
• Leads problem solving using CSR, Six Sigma, Shainin methodologies with data-driven insights.
• Monitors customer data and KPI performance, reports to leadership.
• Contributes to continuous improvement of the plant quality function.
