Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking an Advanced Quality Engineer to join our on-site team in Mebane, NC. The role serves as the primary customer contact for quality requirements and drives cross-functional plans to improve quality in line with the voice of the customer.

Responsibilities include acting as the customer advocate, accessing B2B portals for metrics, resolving issues through structured problem solving, and delivering quality improvements aligned with KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 1-3+ years of automotive quality experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the customer liaison for quality requirements across locations and functions.
• Access customer B2B portals to obtain performance metrics and update customer requirements.
• Resolve customer issues by ensuring APQP, change management, and other quality processes are understood and followed.
• Develop and monitor a quality improvement plan (KPIs) aligned with customer objectives.
• Consolidate customer portal data for plant quality reporting and communicate findings to leadership.
