Job summary

Dauch seeks a Senior Advanced Quality Engineer to join our team in Mebane, NC. This fully onsite role serves as the main contact for customer quality requirements and coordinates across locations to improve quality performance aligned with the voice of the customer.

You will develop and execute plans for APQP and change management, manage customer relationships, and lead structured problem-solving using CSR methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other related Engineering field.
• 8+ years of automotive quality experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the customer's primary contact for quality requirements and information.
• Ensure understanding and communication of customer-specific systems (APQP, change management, warranty, etc.).
• Develop plans with cross-functional teams to improve quality performance in line with VOC.
• Maintain and review customer performance data and update customer-specific requirements.
• Lead problem-solving using CSR methods and communicate findings to leadership.
• Contribute to quality reporting and plant quality improvements using customer data.
