Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. on-site team is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler for the Soo Project in Sault Ste. Marie, MI.

The role focuses on baseline and update schedules for the $1.8B New Lock project, with weekly and monthly updates for Owner/Contractor meetings. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in heavy civil scheduling, strong Primavera P6 and Primavera Cloud skills, and excellent written and verbal communication to coordinate with the project team, subcontractors, engineers, and the government.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in Project Scheduling.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with project team, subcontractors, engineers, and customer.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of schedulers to create baseline schedules and maintain the working schedule.
• Ensure schedules updates and reports conform to contract specifications for formal submittal to Government.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive schedule narrative with each formal update.
• Prepare project progress reports and integrate subcontractor look ahead schedules into the master schedule.
• Review contractor schedules for accuracy and analyze critical path updates; communicate status to stakeholders.
• Report schedule status to all stakeholders weekly/monthly; facilitate monthly schedule reviews with Government.
• Assist Project Team in maintaining, updating and monitoring the CPM schedule.
• Maintain project schedules and alert the team to potential problem areas.
• Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA).
• Produce reports: progress charts, labor curves, time impact analyses, and schedules.
