Job summary

Kokosing Industrial, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for the New Lock at the Soo Project in Sault Ste. Marie, MI.

This onsite role requires coordinating electrical scope, managing schedule and budget, and ensuring compliance with federal standards and contract requirements. You will work closely with government representatives, design teams, self-perform field operations, subcontractors, and commissioning authorities to deliver critical electrical infrastructure on a major civil

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electrical project engineering, construction, or engineering.
• Experience with large industrial, power, or federal contracting projects.
• Prior work with USACE, NAVFAC, DoD is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with design teams, field operations, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage electrical scope activities at the project.
• Ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery with federal safety/regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with government reps, design teams, field operations, subcontractors, and commissioning authorities.
• Prepare vendor quotes and track material deliveries.
• Monitor crew assignments and perform field inspections.
• Ensure compliance with project policies and regulations.
