Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to lead a team of schedulers on the $1.8B New Lock project in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. You will develop baseline schedules, maintain updates, and prepare reports for owner and government stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in heavy civil scheduling, expertise with Primavera P6 and Primavera Cloud, and strong communication to coordinate with project teams including subcontractors and design engineers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Project Scheduling, preferably in heavy civil and heavy industrial construction.
• Bachelor’s degree or experience in lieu of degree in a related field.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Primavera Cloud and strong reporting skills.
• Ability to coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, engineers and customers.
• Federal background check required for site access.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of schedulers to create baseline schedules and maintain weekly/monthly updates.
• Ensure schedule updates conform to contract specs and are prepared for government submissions.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive schedule narrative with updates.
• Prepare progress reports and integrate subcontractor look-ahead schedules into the master schedule.
• Analyze critical path updates and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Facilitate monthly schedule reviews with the Government.
• Maintain CPM schedules and alert the team to issues.
