Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety and health or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in safety and health in construction preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA regulations and company policies.
• Ability to lead safety programs across locations and drive improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the Safety and Health Program at Soo Locks project and any assigned locations.
• Provide operational leadership and coach safety staff for compliance and performance.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and safety conversations; drive corrective actions.
• Investigate injuries and incidents; analyze data to prevent recurrences.
• Develop mitigation strategies, train teams, and coordinate safety communications.
• Collaborate with Safety Director/VP to implement policies and program improvements.
