Job summary

Clark Construction Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead onsite construction efforts in Washington, DC. You will coordinate budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and suppliers while mentoring Project Engineers and ensuring contract compliance.

The role includes creating bid packages, performing bid analyses, and developing subcontracts, with responsibility for financial performance and client satisfaction across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive construction experience as project engineer, PM or superintendent for a general contracting firm.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with field staff, architects, engineers, and owners.
• Strong bidding, estimating and contracting knowledge.
• Proficient with tools like Procore, Bluebeam, Navisworks and Office software.

Responsibilities

• Manage one large project or several projects based on value and complexity.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications and contracts.
• Mentor and train Project Engineers on assigned tasks.
• Coordinate field and office operations with the Superintendent.
• Create bid packages, conduct bid analyses and develop subcontracts.
• Oversee budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting for projects.
• Ensure timely RFIs, submittals, and document control in Procore.
• Maintain 40+ billable hours per week and onsite project presence.
