Clark Construction Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead day-to-day management of large-scale construction projects in the Washington, DC area. You will develop project plans, manage risk, and steer communications among stakeholders to meet deadlines and budgets.

The role requires a strong track record in construction management, team leadership, and a proactive, safety-first approach on active job sites. You will contribute to proposals and help grow Clark's project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of construction experience with preference for large-scale GC work.
• 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• Strong understanding of the strategic, operational, and financial components of a construction project.
• Ability to make timely and effective decisions.
• Experience managing projects from start to finish.
• Proven ability to build relationships with owners and trade contractors.
• Demonstrated leadership, ethics, and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting.
• Understand and apply Clark's contracts and manage all parties involved.
• Secure permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors.
• Facilitate project meetings to coordinate work activity.
• Lead, train, and develop project team members.
• Prepare monthly job status reports outlining priorities and issues.
• Oversee project close-out, turnover of manuals and warranties, and final payment documents.
• Develop relationships with owner, engineering, and design firms.
• Set project deadlines and monitor progress.
• Drive safety culture on the project site.
• Support new business by participating in proposals and presentations.
• Provide leadership to foster inclusion and diversity.
• Proactively identify relationships to win work.
• Recruit top industry talent for Clark.
