Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead day-to-day management of large-scale construction projects on-site. You will create detailed project plans, manage timelines and resources, and coordinate with owners, engineers, and designers to meet project goals.

You will drive safety culture, oversee permits and insurance for subs, and provide leadership to project teams while supporting business development through proposals and presentations.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, a related discipline, or relevant work experience.
• 7+ years of construction experience required; working for a general contractor on large-scale construction projects is highly preferred.
• 4+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• Understanding of the strategic, operational, and financial components of a construction project.
• Ability to make timely and effective decisions.
• Experience managing projects successfully from start to finish.
• Skilled at developing and negotiating relationships with owners and trade contractors.
• Strong work ethic, leadership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting.
• Secure required permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors.
• Facilitate project meetings to coordinate work activity and lead, train, and develop project team members.
• Prepare and submit monthly job status reports that outline priorities and issues.
• Lead project close-out including turnover of manuals and warranties and final payment documents.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with owners, engineers, and design firms.
• Drive a culture of safety on the project site.
• Support acquisition of new work by participating in proposals and presentations.
• Recruit top industry talent to join Clark and retain outstanding people.
