Job summary

GE Vernova Richmond Service Center seeks a Manufacturing Repair Fulfillment Manager to lead shop scheduling, master production scheduling, and material flow, turning demand into actionable schedules that meet delivery commitments and optimize capacity.

You will guide internal project managers, order managers, and schedulers to deliver real-time schedule visibility, improved throughput, and data-driven decisions within a site leadership context.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited college/university with preferred studies in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or similar degree.
• 2+ years of experience in a high-complexity manufacturing or repair fulfillment role.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience improving shop floor performance and schedule adherence.
• Must be 100% onsite at the GE Vernova Richmond, VA Repair Center, with occasional business travel.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling Ownership: Own, maintain, and upgrade the shop floor scheduling process, aligning with site SQDC goals.
• Operational Transparency: Provide real-time visibility of the production schedule to the shop floor.
• Throughput & Flow: Improve communication, planning, and material/task flow through the shop.
• Capacity Alignment: Balance workload against capacity and lead long-term fulfillment planning for the Richmond shop.
• Site Leadership Collaboration: Provide data-backed insights to influence site strategies and delivery commitments.
• Performance Metrics: Track schedule attainment, cycle time, backlogs, and support cost analysis.
• Functional Leadership: Lead Shipping/Receiving, Order Management, and Shop Scheduling teams.
