Job summary

GE Vernova's Richmond, VA Repair Center seeks a capable Site Leader to guide Shipping and Receiving, Order Management, and Shop Scheduling in a high-complexity manufacturing environment. You will own the shop floor schedule, ensure alignment with SQDC goals, and provide real-time visibility to the team to drive on-time deliveries.

This on-site role requires strong project scheduling, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or similar.
• 2+ years of experience in a high-complexity manufacturing or repair fulfillment role.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience improving shop floor performance and schedule adherence.
• Must be 100% onsite at the GE Vernova Richmond, VA Repair Center, with occasional business travel.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling Ownership: Own, maintain, and upgrade the shop floor scheduling process. The team will be the architect of the schedule, aligned with SQDC goals.
• Operational Transparency: Provide real-time visibility of the production schedule to the shop floor.
• Throughput & Flow: Improve communication, planning, and material/task flow through the shop.
• Capacity Alignment: Balance workload with capacity; lead long-term fulfillment planning for the Richmond shop.
• Site Leadership Collaboration: Serve as a core member of the site leadership team with data-backed insights.
• Performance Metrics: Track schedule attainment, cycle time, and backlogs; support cost analysis.
• Functional Leadership: Lead Shipping/Receiving, Order Management, and Shop Scheduling.
