Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Connecticut seeks a Senior Product Manufacturing Engineer to support CSMC manufacturing operations and drive first pass yield improvements using MRL tools. You will own the manufacturing value stream for a part family, collaborate with IPT, and apply PFMEA, Control Plans, Gage R&R, and data analysis.

The role requires a BS in a STEM field with 5+ years in manufacturing (or MS with 3+ years), U.S. citizenship, and hands-on experience in a shop environment.

Qualifications

• BS in a STEM field with 5+ years in manufacturing (or MS with 3+ years).
• U.S. citizenship required due to government contracts.
• Experience reading complex blueprints and managing priorities.
• Proficient MS Office suite; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing shop floor and drive process improvements across the value stream.
• Act as IPT manufacturing POC, coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines.
• Lead projects to reduce Cost of Poor Quality and increase throughput using PM tools.
• Document statements, observations, calculations and recommendations clearly.
