Qualifications

• Proven leadership of accounting teams in a hands-on role.
• Experience overseeing AR and AP processes, billing, and collections.
• Strong understanding of construction/project-based billing, invoicing, and contractual terms.
• Knowledge of job costing, WIP, progress billing, or retainage is highly preferred.
• Solid financial reporting, reconciliation, and internal controls experience.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with project managers, sales, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the accounting team across key finance functions.
• Oversee the full accounting cycle and ensure accurate financial transactions.
• Manage accounts receivable, including billing, collections, reconciliations, and aging.
• Ensure timely invoicing and collections to support healthy cash flow.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and revenue-related reporting.
• Support and oversee month-end and year-end close activities.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
• Partner with project managers, sales, and clients to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.
