Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

This role is designed for a strong Controller who is ready for the next step in their career—someone who wants to expand beyond day-to-day accounting and grow into a true strategic leader.

You'll start by learning the business, handling core accounting work with precision, and gradually taking on more strategic responsibilities around cash flow, forecasting, financial planning, and organizational oversight. This position is ideal for someone who is analytical, detail-focused, and hungry for upward mobility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all corporate accounting: monthly/annual financial statements, balance sheet accuracy, P&L analysis, cash flow reporting, forecast vs. actuals.
• Oversee and perform transactional accounting: bank and credit card reconciliations, AR/AP management, annual tax prep coordination, and creation of custom reports as needed.
• Provide guidance, support, and oversight to administrative and accounting staff.
• Manage HR administrative coordination, working with a third-party payroll/benefits provider for multi-state compliance and onboarding needs.
• Support leadership with financial insights, logic-driven decision making, and clear recommendations.
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a collaborative presence across the organization.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent financial background.
• Expert-level QuickBooks Online proficiency (critical requirement).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office Suite skills.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with HR processes and regulatory compliance.
• ConnectWise experience is a plus but not required.
