Job summary

Securitas Technology Corporation is seeking a technically skilled professional for on-site support and post-installation service. You will respond to trouble tickets, diagnose issues, and perform preventive maintenance to keep systems running reliably. Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, fire/home alarm systems and IP networking is essential.

Minimum HS diploma; NICET or state fire license preferred. A company vehicle and comprehensive benefits are provided for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience installing/troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
• NICET certification or State Fire License preferred.
• Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, burglary and fire alarm systems.
• Familiarity with network communications and IP addressing.
• Certifications in enterprise CCTV or access control a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to trouble tickets to ensure uptime and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues both individually and in a team.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize availability and identify faults.
• Document changes using change control tracking system.
• Create technical docs for deployment details for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Conduct pre-deployment testing of upgrades and major modifications.
• Install software upgrades and major modifications on-site.
