Job summary

IES is seeking a Project Lead - Security Systems in Rayville, LA to act as on-site coordinator and crew lead for installation of card access, CCTV, CATV and intrusion systems. You will ensure quality, safety, and efficiency while managing staff and coordinating with the project team.

The role requires supervisory experience, ability to read blueprints, and proficiency with MS Office tools. Overtime may be available; a $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalency.
• Five years minimum experience in security systems installation.
• Twelve months supervisory/managerial experience minimum.
• Proficient with listed tools and able to use Microsoft Office/MS Project.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and project documents (specs, reports, quality requirements).
• Knowledge of universal color codes in communications.
• Proficient with listed tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
• Meets company driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise several Crew Leads – Security Systems, provide training, conduct weekly safety meetings, and escalate issues to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with SS Project Manager to ensure productivity, job completion and budget compliance.
• Complete all project paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, material transfers, work orders, change orders, tool transfers, etc.).
• Serve as main on-site customer contact; attend facility/construction meetings when required.
• Demonstrate detailed technical knowledge of card access, CCTV, CATV and intrusion systems; troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
