Job summary

Homeland Safety Systems is seeking an Installation Technician in Shreveport, LA, to install electronic control systems and maintain previously installed solutions. You will travel up to 60% to job sites, lead a small team, and ensure precise wiring, panel connections, and software setup in commercial security systems.

The role requires low voltage and access control experience, strong organization, and the ability to work nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in installation of electronic control systems; successful team leadership experience.
• Experience with low voltage and access control installations.
• Must pass state and federal background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% and work nights/weekends.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license; ability to obtain required licenses.

Responsibilities

• Install Homeland security solutions at customer sites; follow installation maps and folders.
• Lead a technician crew and coordinate with Operations and other technicians.
• Connect control panels, install software, conceal wiring, and ensure requirements are met.
• Perform site inspections, review plans, and verify material needs and procedures.
• Provide maintenance and support for installed systems; troubleshoot issues.
