Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to join a dynamic K-12 team near New Britain, CT. Two full-time contracts are available to cover maternity leaves, with start dates at the end of September and in mid-November, respectively.

Qualifications

• Active CT Speech-Language Pathology license required.
• CCC certification is mandatory.
• Previous school-based SLP experience required.
• K-12 experience preferred.
• Candidates must be willing and able to work fully onsite.
• SLPAs will not be considered for these roles.
• Completion of district background check and fingerprints required.
• Ready for a virtual interview via Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges.
• Deliver direct and consultative SLP services to students across the K-12 range.
• Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for optimal student outcomes.
• Participate in IEP meetings and develop individualized education plans as needed.
