Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time contract in the Winsted, CT area. The role supports K-12 students across multiple school sites, Monday through Friday, 35-37.5 hours per week, ASAP through June 2027.

Two SLPs are needed to manage caseloads and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a district-wide setting. In-person service delivery is required; remote work is not available.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) must be current.
• Previous experience providing speech/language services in a school environment strongly preferred.
• Capacity to independently manage a K-12 caseload and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities.
• Committed to in-person service delivery; remote work is not available.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs and therapeutic interventions for students with speech and language disorders.
• Conduct thorough evaluations, write comprehensive reports, and maintain compliant documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to create supportive learning environments.
• Monitor student progress, adjust therapy plans as needed, and contribute actively to IEP meetings.
• Serve as an advocate for students’ communication needs across multiple schools in the district.
