Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract role in a dynamic school district in Connecticut. You will work with elementary and middle school students, delivering speech and language services to support communication milestones.

Requires an active Connecticut SLP license (CCC). The position involves travel between schools during standard hours (8:45am–3:45pm) with collaboration across teachers, families, and district staff to implement individualized

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut SLP license (CCC required).
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred.
• Proficient in delivering both group and individual therapy to elementary and middle school students.
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities with students, staff, and families.
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school requirements.
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other support staff to integrate targets into the classroom.
• Attend eligibility and IEP meetings as needed, providing expertise on language and communication goals.
• Travel between elementary and middle schools during standard school hours (8:45am–3:45pm).
