Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a certified Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary and middle school students in a vibrant educational setting near Waterford, CT. This contract role is in-person with a diverse caseload in a collaborative school community.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech-language disorders, participate in IEP meetings, and educate families and staff on strategies. Weekday hours are 8:45am–3:45pm, through June, with onboarding support and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut SLP license (CT SLP).
• CCC-SLP credential.
• Experience in school-based settings with elementary/middle school.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to varying caseloads.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and group speech and language therapy to students from elementary through middle school.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in collaboration with educational staff and families.
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, specialists, and support staff to develop and implement student goals.
• Educate parents and staff on strategies to facilitate continued development of speech and language skills.
