Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for the full 2026/2027 school year. This on-site, contract role supports K-12 students across multiple school sites, with two openings for full-time SLPs to collaborate with dedicated professionals.

Requirements include a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, SLP-CCC, Connecticut licensure or eligibility, and a commitment to five days per week on-site.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid SLP-CCC certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
• Current state licensure or eligibility in Connecticut.
• Experience in school settings and working with K-12 populations preferred.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Ability to work well within a collaborative team.
• Must be available for on-site, in-person instruction five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans in alignment with district and state guidelines
• Providing direct therapy to students with diverse communication needs
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement
• Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and IEP teams
• Serving students across K-12, adapting strategies to fit various age groups
