Job summary

ProQualityNetwork is seeking an experienced Buyer for a six-month onsite contract in Northern Puerto Rico. The role focuses on purchasing and material availability for the medical devices industry, with SAP proficiency and a strong grasp of regulated environments.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years purchasing experience, can expedite materials via ERP recommendations, and collaborates with suppliers and cross-functional teams to support production requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of purchasing experience in a regulated industry.
• Experience creating and managing POs in SAP.
• Experience expediting materials and resolving invoice discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Create and process purchase orders in SAP according to procedures.
• Expedite materials based on ERP recommendations and production needs.
• Follow up on order confirmations, delivery dates, and open POs.
• Monitor inventory and open orders to minimize supply disruptions.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies with suppliers and AP.
• Coordinate with Planning, Supplier Quality, and Receiving teams.
• Participate in supplier and delivery meetings to ensure on-time material delivery.
