Job summary

CACI is seeking a Sales Engineer (Technical Support) to back pre-sale activities and deployments, providing hardware integration expertise for autonomous platforms. The role is onsite with up to 50% travel, requiring collaboration with account teams to ensure successful implementations.

Preferred candidates have defense tech experience and knowledge of unmanned systems applications, plus strong communication with customers and partners. On-site work is mandatory and remote work is not allowed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hardware integration on autonomous platforms (UAS/USV/UGV).
• 2+ years in sales engineering, customer support, or field support.
• Familiarity with the defense technology ecosystem and unmanned systems applications.
• Strong ability to articulate product capabilities and engage with customers/partners.
• On-site work required; remote work not authorized.

Responsibilities

• Support Account Executives in all technical aspects of customer engagements.
• Provide technical support for new platform integrations and pre-sale discussions.
• Deliver technical documentation and remote integration assistance.
• Conduct product training for customers in pre- and post-sale phases.
• Travel regularly to customer sites to support bailments, demos, and deliveries.
• Serve as SME on gimbal operation and performance expectations.
• Assist with firmware updates and new feature rollouts.
• Support trade shows, industry events, and field exercises.
• Collaborate with Field Service Reps to troubleshoot issues and process RMAs.
• Capture customer feedback to inform engineering design efforts.
