Job summary

Actalent is seeking an EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety programs in a manufacturing setting. The role ensures OSHA/EPA compliance and promotes a strong safety culture across the organization.

Responsibilities include inspections, hazard assessments, incident investigations, environmental programs, training, and recordkeeping, collaborating with operations, maintenance, and HR to reduce risk and improve safety performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
• Manufacturing, foundry, environmental compliance, and safety certification experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs within a manufacturing environment.
• Conduct safety inspections and manage workplace hazard assessments.
• Investigate incidents and oversee environmental compliance programs.
• Maintain safety records and deliver employee training.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, HR, and leadership to reduce risk and drive continuous improvement
