Job summary

Wisafetycouncil seeks a Safety Manager to assist the Safety and Process Improvement Director in developing the company’s Safety/Quality Program and implementing changes to internal processes.

You will serve as the on-site safety resource, lead incident investigations, deliver training, and help standardize processes across job sites while ensuring OSHA and related regulations are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, risk management, and workers’ compensation.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site safety resource, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and workers’ compensation claims; recommend preventative measures.
• Deliver safety and compliance training across all staff levels; prepare training materials.
• Collaborate to identify and implement safety/process improvements across job sites.
• Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations; ensure postings and SDS programs are compliant.
