Job summary

ThermoSafe on the Wisconsin production floor seeks a Safety Coordinator to reinforce our safety culture, partner with employees and leadership, and implement OSHA-compliant programs. The role involves hands-on collaboration, inspections, and continuous improvement across the facility.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in manufacturing safety, strong communication skills, and a practical, coaching-oriented approach to keeping teams safe and compliant on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of Federal, State, and local safety regulations and industry standards.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to conduct safety inspections, compliance audits, and hazard assessments.
• Strong organizational skills with detail-orientation and prioritization.
• Problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Promote continuous improvement of workplace health and safety programs to reduce incidents and strengthen safety culture.
• Champion and support a safety-first culture by engaging and coaching employees at all levels.
• Coordinate day-to-day environmental, health, and safety activities for regulatory and policy compliance.
• Maintain awareness of corporate safety initiatives and ensure facility alignment with safety objectives.
• Support compliance with all applicable occupational health and safety regulations through assessments and documentation.
• Partner with hourly and salaried employees to promote safety awareness and risk reduction.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, compliance audits, and hazard assessments.
• Develop and track corrective actions to address hazards and prevent recurrences.
• Assist in incident investigations to determine root causes and support corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records and training documentation in line with company and regulatory requirements.
• Support employee safety training and ongoing education initiatives.
• Collaborate with facility leadership to drive continuous safety improvements and meet performance goals.
