Job summary

CBRE is seeking an Onsite Safety Professional to serve as the primary safety authority for major campus developments in the East Region, with 3- to 5-year engagements at client sites. You will be based onsite in trailers, spending 70% in the field and 30% on documentation, with on-site work five days a week across Manassas, VA and Summerville, SC.

You will lead safety oversight, manage records and reporting, coach the site safety committee, and contribute to project lifecycle EH&S plans,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience in critical environments.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and understand codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily site walks to identify hazards and enforce safety protocols.
• Maintain safety records and issue weekly EHS summaries.
• Provide data-driven safety metrics to support decisions.
• Lead safety meetings and coordinate tours with GC and owner reps.
• Assist in design reviews and contribute to EHS plans.
