Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Construction Safety Representative to monitor and manage EHS performance on data center projects onsite in Texas. You will support the construction management team with safety data, conduct site safety walks, and drive incident investigations.

This role emphasizes rigorous compliance, risk assessment, and collaboration with GC and owner representatives. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction safety, strong knowledge of NFPA 70e/NEC, and experience with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum five+ years as a construction safety representative; data center/mission critical experience preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years supporting safety programs, overseeing GC/subcontractor safety compliance.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite; ability to read architectural drawings; knowledge of MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor GC EHS performance and ensure compliance with practices, regulations, and contract deliverables.
• Provide site-level data on EHS metrics, incidents, and KPIs to inform decisions.
• Communicate safety information through meetings and notices across the site.
• Conduct daily safety site walks with GC and owner representatives; weekly PM walkabouts where possible.
• Participate in safety investigations and risk assessments; support life-cycle design reviews and HSE plans.
• Escalate non-compliance to GC and keep owner/PM informed; ensure timely data submission.
• Oversee Boots on the Ground program and EHS evaluations; issue weekly summaries.
• Assist in design reviews through life cycle and handover to operations.
