Job summary

CBRE is seeking an Onsite Safety Professional to lead safety oversight for major campus developments across Summerville, SC, St. George, SC, Moncks Corner, SC, and Augusta, GA.

The role focuses 70% on field oversight and 30% on project documentation, with 8-hour days and potential 2nd/3rd shifts as project demands require. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of mission-critical construction experience, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and strong knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA, NESC, and ANSI.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in mission-critical or data center construction with complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 5–7 years of related safety/field supervision experience.
• Deep knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA, NESC, ANSI and best practices for large-scale projects.
• Strong communication, independence, root cause analysis, risk mitigation and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety compliance on field sites with daily oversight and periodic safety reviews.
• Provide real-time safety metrics, incident reports, and weekly EHS summaries to management.
• Facilitate safety committees and support risk assessments, investigations and milestone reviews.
• Maintain safety improvement processes and ensure correction of non-compliance issues.
