Job summary

Revlon seeks a Safety Engineer for our Oxford, North Carolina facility to serve as the site technical authority on safety engineering, hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk reduction. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and Quality to implement safeguards and drive continuous improvements.

The role emphasizes engineering controls, safety-by-design, process hazard analyses, machine and electrical safety, and Change Management for capital projects.

Qualifications

• Safety engineering and hazard identification at manufacturing sites.
• Ability to lead risk assessment and implement risk-reduction measures.
• Experience with process hazard analyses and risk ranking.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-level safety engineering assessments and drive corrective actions using the hierarchy of controls.
• Lead Process Hazard Analyses, What-If / Checklist reviews, Job Safety Analyses and risk-ranking activities.
• Identify serious injury and fatality exposure risks, develop mitigation plans and verify effectiveness of engineered controls.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action development for high-potential incidents and trends.
• Lead the facility machine guarding assessment program and develop safeguarding plans.
• Review machinery for safe access, guarding, interlocks and energy-control considerations.
• Partner with Engineering and Maintenance to design, implement and validate guarding improvements.
• Support Pre-Startup Safety Reviews for new or modified equipment before release to production.
