Job summary

Revlon is hiring a Safety Engineer at its Oxford, North Carolina facility. This onsite, full-time role requires leading site-level safety engineering, risk assessment, and life-critical programs to reduce injury risk across manufacturing operations.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to design safeguards and drive continuous improvement. You will facilitate PHAs/JHAs, support MOC processes, and deliver practical safety training while ensuring compliance with NFPA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering or related field and professional certification.
• 5–7 years of safety engineering, manufacturing EHS, or related risk-reduction experience.
• Experience with machine guarding, energy control, NFPA 70E, hazard analysis.
• Cosmetics/consumer products industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-level safety engineering assessments to identify hazards and drive corrective actions using the hierarchy of controls.
• Facilitate Process Hazard Analyses, What-If / Checklist reviews, Job Safety Analyses, Job Hazard Analyses, and risk-ranking activities.
• Identify serious injury and fatality exposure risks, develop mitigation plans, and verify effectiveness of engineering controls.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action development for high-potential incidents and near misses.
• Lead the facility machine guarding assessment program and develop risk-based action plans for safeguarding gaps.
• Participate in Management of Change reviews for new or modified equipment, chemicals, processes, materials, production layouts, utilities, and work methods.
• Develop and deliver technical safety training for engineers, maintenance, supervisors, operators, and contractors.
