Job summary

Revlon in Oxford, NC is seeking an on-site Safety Engineer to lead technical safety programs, hazard identification, and risk reduction across manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, HR, and Quality to implement engineered safeguards, LOTO, and life-critical safety standards.

The role requires 8+ years in safety engineering, CSP/ISO certifications, and experience with hazard analyses and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

Strong working knowledge of OSHA General Industry requirements and practical safety practices in manufacturing.
Experience with machine guarding, energy control, NFPA 70E, confined space entry, hot work and contractor safety.
Ability to perform risk assessments, PHAs/JSAs and corrective-action effectiveness reviews.

Responsibilities

Lead site-level safety engineering assessments and risk-reduction actions.
Oversee machine guarding programs and safeguarding improvements with engineering controls.
Participate in Management of Change reviews for new or modified equipment and processes.
Develop training and provide cross-functional safety coaching across departments.
Support life-critical safety programs (LOTO, confined space, electrical safety, etc.).
