The Safety Engineer serves as the site technical authority for safety engineering, hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk reduction at the Oxford manufacturing facility. The position leads technical safety programs that reduce exposure to serious injury and fatality risks through engineering controls, safety-by-design principles, process hazard analysis, ergonomics, machine safety, electrical safety and Management of Change reviews. The role partners with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Human Resources, Quality, Security and Environmental to identify hazards, strengthen safeguards and implement sustainable corrective actions.
