Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Safety Lead to act as on-site safety champion and primary point of contact for customers and contractors. The role balances proactive safety leadership with high-level customer service to ensure safe operations and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ACI Field Testing Level I certification preferred.
• 1+ years in Construction, Heavy Building Material, or Asphalt; 2+ years aggregate experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site-wide adherence to MSHA and internal safety standards.
• Conduct daily safety walks and inspections to identify hazards.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee safety equipment maintenance and PPE readiness.
• Facilitate site safety orientations for new hires and contractors.
• Act as primary contact for customers and haulage contractors.
