Job summary

Martin Marietta on-site Safety Lead balances operational safety with customer-focused service. You will represent the company with vendors, customers, and contractors while ensuring every employee returns home safely and on-time.

Responsibilities include leading daily safety walks, incident investigations, PPE and equipment upkeep, and developing safe procedures. You will also serve as the primary on-site contact, resolving issues with urgency and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience.
• ACI Field Testing Level I Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety walks and inspections to identify hazards and address safety concerns.
• Lead incident reporting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Inspect and maintain safety equipment and PPE; support SOP updates.
• Serve as primary on-site contact for customers and contractors, resolving issues promptly.
• Organize and lead on-site safety meetings and orientation for new hires, visitors, and vendors.
