Job summary

Ideal Building Solutions is seeking a proactive Safety Coordinator to support and advance our safety program across job sites. You will work with the Safety Manager, field leadership, and trade partners to ensure compliance and continuous improvement while handling day-to-day safety administration.

The role is a full-time, in-office position with some travel, reporting to the Safety Manager. Experience in construction safety and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction safety or related field
• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety) is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey safety information clearly
• Comfortable working in both office and field environments

Responsibilities

• Review and manage Toolbox Talks and Daily JSAs using Safety Culture
• Assign and track safety checks for high-hazard work activities
• Monitor and follow up on safety observations and corrective actions
• Assist in developing and maintaining trade partner safety programs and trainings
• Maintain training rosters and safety documentation
• Conduct regular jobsite safety audits and inspections
• Support incident documentation and follow-up
• Coordinate PPE inventory and equipment inspections
