Job summary

Environmental And Safety Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced Construction Safety Associate to lead project safety and serve as a key representative to owners, contractors, and project stakeholders.

You will lead daily site safety activities, conduct inspections and hazard assessments, develop site safety plans and JSAs/JHAs, investigate incidents, and provide safety training and guidance to crews. Collaborating with project leadership, you will foster a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Credential CSP, CIH, ASP, ARM, CHST or OHST with 3 years of construction safety experience.
• 5+ years of relevant construction safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site safety activities, inspections and hazard assessments.
• Conduct safety meetings with agendas, minutes and action tracking.
• Document inspection findings and track corrective actions through closeout.
• Assist with incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and JSAs/JHAs.
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA construction/general industry requirements.
• Provide safety training, coaching and compliance guidance to site personnel.
• Collaborate with owner, contractors and project leadership to foster safety culture.
