Job summary

B&S Site Development is seeking an OHS Manager to lead safety audits, staff training, and regulatory compliance across multi-site civil construction projects. The role emphasizes developing safety programs, incident investigations, and fostering a proactive safety culture.

The ideal candidate will have OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification, 4+ years in construction health and safety, and strong analytical and communication skills. Willingness to travel to various sites is required.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting safety audits and incident investigations.
• Ability to develop safety plans and conduct training for staff and subcontractors.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and AHAs/SDS.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Safety Inspections and assess hazards for OSHA compliance.
• Lead incident investigations, report findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and update safety programs, policies, and procedures for projects.
• Facilitate safety training on hazard recognition, excavations, confined spaces, fall protection, PPE, and emergencies.
• Monitor contractor compliance with safety regulations and conduct risk assessments.
• Maintain up-to-date safety documentation and records.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings; promote a strong safety culture.
• Develop emergency response plans and drills for incidents and spills.
