This unique opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs. As a TurboTax - Retail Expert, you will serve as a trusted advisor, empowering customers to achieve positive financial outcomes while supporting Intuit’s

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• PTIN required to file taxes.
• State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds may be required.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to work onsite at a TurboTax location, 20+ hours/week, weekends included.
• Interest in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax preparation and advice for TurboTax customers.
• Conduct discovery sessions, reviews, and planning to maximize refunds.
• Deliver accurate tax solutions using government resources and professional tools.
• Create an exceptional customer experience and build long-term relationships.
• Engage with the local community and support marketing efforts.
