Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Yard at Ivanhoe in Orlando, FL. You will perform technical and mechanical tasks to keep buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas up to company standards for safety and appearance.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, completing make-ready tasks for new move-ins, managing inventory and materials, documenting work, and helping with grounds maintenance. On-call rotations and EPA certifications are required.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications required for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf carts on property where applicable.
• State/local certifications must be up to date.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Operates make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and punch lists.
• Manages materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor on re-orders.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; assists in painting and cleaning as needed.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing parts and avoiding wasteful replacements.
• May inspect contractor work to verify quality and compliance.

Education

EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 & II or Universal

Valid driver's license
