Job summary

Maymont Homes, part of Brookfield, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain a portfolio of single-family rental homes. You will perform repairs, renovations, and ongoing maintenance to keep homes safe and functional for residents.

This role requires 3+ years of residential maintenance, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Daily tasks include completing work orders on mobile devices, coordinating with vendors, and upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 3+ years of residential maintenance or related field.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem‑solving ability.
• Proficiency in mobile technology and work order systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance across assigned properties.
• Diagnose and complete repairs related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general home systems.
• Complete and document work orders accurately and promptly using company-issued mobile devices.
• Coordinate with dispatch, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely service completion.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies needed for daily maintenance activities.
