Job summary

Maymont Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our single-family rental homes safe, functional, and well maintained across markets. This remote-friendly role supports property operations and requires hands-on repair skills, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with urgency and care.

You will diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems, document work orders on mobile devices, coordinate with dispatch and vendors, and uphold safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of residential maintenance experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance across assigned properties.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general home systems.
• Document work orders accurately using company-issued mobile devices.
• Coordinate with dispatch, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely service.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies needed for daily maintenance activities.
• Support property readiness by assisting with renovations, turns, and quality control checks.
• Provide a high level of customer service as the primary field representative.
• Follow OSHA and safety standards; report unsafe conditions promptly.
• Complete required documentation and keep records up to date.
