Job summary

Gillman Home Center in Batesville, IN seeks an IT Support Specialist to assist end users, manage AD, and keep devices secure. You will provide remote and on-site support, train teammates, maintain accounts, and help deploy new systems.

This full-time role requires at least 3 years of IT support experience, hands-on knowledge of Microsoft AD, and the ability to prioritize tickets while delivering excellent customer service. Occasional travel to other store locations is expected.

• Maintain the computer network and devices to ensure continuous operation.
• Provide technical assistance and basic training to team members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service to all end-users with ownership and follow through.
• Maintain the computer network ensuring continuous operation.
• Provide technical assistance and basic training to team members.
• Maintenance user accounts.
• Manage the company telephone system (land line and cell phone).
• Support end users via phone and remote support tools.
• Travel to store locations to install/fix/upgrade equipment.
• Install, manage and monitor security equipment.
• Ensure all computers have up to date security software.
• Effectively manage time to ensure calls and help desk tickets are responded to in a timely manner.
• Maintain systems: establish and manage user accounts, distribution lists, onboarding and offboarding users, and security controls.
• Maintain company website and intranet site. This includes posting, modifying, updating, removing items.
• Research and submit ideas for new technology as necessary to meet the needs of the company.
• Assist with other IT projects as needed.
• Ensure a safe working environment. Maintain situational awareness, identify and rectify any safety issues or violations of law or company policy.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties assigned as necessary.
