Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking an Onsite Registration Representative for Baystate Franklin Medical Center. Schedule is 7am-3:30pm, and the role includes greeting and registering patients, collecting payments, and verifying insurance data to support accurate billing.

Under supervision, you will gather demographic information, obtain required signatures, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate with hospital staff to ensure smooth patient flow and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Bi-lingual skills preferred.
• Typing 25 wpm and clear English communication.

Responsibilities

• Complete training on Patient Registration policies and workflows.
• Meet quality assurance targets for account reviews and collections.
• Greet and register patients, verify demographics and payor information.
• Collect patient payments and process cash/credit card transactions.
• Ensure confidentiality and privacy in line with policy.
• Direct patients to their scheduled locations and provide general information.
• Analyze insurance data to educate patients on financial responsibility.
• Review and follow up on delinquent accounts and payments.
