Job summary

We are looking to add an experienced registered dietitian to Cura-Hospitality's healthcare team in New Brighton. You will assess patients' nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and help improve quality of life in line with each resident's goals. This is a non-exempt, onsite role.

Ideal candidates will have passed the CDR exam or meet Academy eligibility, complete CE hours, and hold state licensure. You will educate staff and participate in continuous quality improvement with the dining and

Qualifications

• Passed the national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulations for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents' rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in continuous quality improvement programs.
